The MRI Ergometer is an ergometer for use during MRI studies particularly spectroscopy of the calf (m. Tibialis anterior and m. Gastrocnemius). It can be used for MRI scanners up to 3 Tesla. The MRI ergometer's workload is controlled with an electronic braking principle especially designed for use in a MRI environment. It is adjustable up to 100 watt with a zero load of <5 watt at 25 rpm. The moment of inertia is 8,4 kgm2. It comes with standard control unit that offers the possibility to read out various parameters like workload, rpm, torque, timer and distance. It also has its own power unit complete with safety cable for wall fixation. With this unique ergometer it is possible to perform an exercise test in an MRI. Ensures minimal time stress induction and imaging without coursing artifacts on the imaging.
