Even though single-use instruments are becoming more popular in laparoscopic surgery, Ackermann© is a step ahead. It deals with several problems like higher costs, excessive stocking, and even environmental impact by producing reusable instruments. Because of this goal, Ackermann© has created its Future Lap and TI-line that is made of hybrid instruments. These instruments have at least one component that is reusable and one component that is for single use only. This way, the advantages of both disposable and reusable instruments are combined.
