The pacemaker from Accent MRI can be used to safely perform a full body MRI scan of a patient. The pacemaker device is a MRI conditional system that has a Tendril MRI Lead and uses a MRI scanner that has a field strength of 1.5T (tesla). MRI settings which are pre-programmed can be enabled or disabled through the easy to use, optional and hand held SJM MRI activator device. This helps in simplifying daily workflow and increases efficiency in the clinic. Efficient patient management is offered by the pacemaker through wireless telemetry and the pacemaker from Accent MRI is the first such conditional pacemaker to do so. The pacemaker is completely safe to use in an MRI environment provided the instructions from the manual are adhered to correctly.
