With XO Osseo you are sure that the drill will never block. The motor does not warm up and does not need maintenance. This is due to the fact that we have based XO Osseo on a two-phase brushless motor, with a very high torque of 8 Ncm. The motor strength ensures that you do not have to increase the speed of the bur, when the bone becomes more dense. By increasing speeds during the drilling process the implant hole becomes irregular, thus providing less than optimal conditions for osseo-integration for the implant. The speed range is 300-40.000 RPM. Fitted with a 20:1 reduction contra-angle the minimal rotation speed is 15 RPM. Since XO Osseo is two-phased, the drill moves regularly, even at low speeds. This will allow you to operate without irrigation, thus perserving vital osseous material that will add to stability and quick integration of the implant.
