Teaching about infant choking and subsequent revival is an important aspect of basic life support. This manikin is a nine month old baby and is used to teach students about the rescue operation undertaken to counter foreign body obstruction. The manikin is supplied along with a bag, clothes and a foreign object. This object is then placed in the manikin’s pharyngeal cavity. The training includes expelling the object from the mouth using sufficient force of the hand.
