The Hill-Rom OB/GYN Stretcher was designed primarily for maternity use, but it is also ideal for use in emergency situations. Unlike the conventional flat stretcher, the OB/GYN can be configured to enable the patient to be comfortably placed in whatever position the situation may call for. The OB/GYN is highly mobile, but it is always under the complete control of the operator when in motion and can quickly be stopped if the optional handbrake is included in the package. Head and foot brake and steer pedals are optional on some models and are standard on others. The OB/GYN stretcher can easily transport a weight of up to 700 pounds. Among its many features are a sliding patient litter, and integrated catch basin, side rails, and integrated foot supports.
