The optional EMG measuring system records the muscular action potential by means of bipolar skin surface electrodes. The system enables function tests to be made on the temporalis anterior and masseter groups of muscles. The conductance is effected on both sides via active electronic electrode cables. The EMG activity can thereby be detected precisely and reliably without cable artefacts. Commercially available disposable electrodes are considerably easier to work with. The measuring results are displayed in real time on the PC and are automatically analyzed for the report. This Evaluation Reports display the following analyses: Muscle tone at rest Muscular activity during the bite Pattern of recruitment and muscular fatigue Up to three measurements of one type can be directly compared with each other.
