The MedGem calorimeter is a medical instrument belonging to FDA 510K cleared Class II. It is a hand held device to be used indirectly, that makes use of the latest technology to measure consumption of oxygen (VO2) accurately so that Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) can be determined. It is easy to use and displays the results in a few minutes. It also provides scope for customization according to individual health management goals. It comes with the MedGem® Analyzer that is a proficient companion software, allowing to easily keep track of the measurement data in the real time, generate reports to educate the patients and export characteristics to analyze the additional data.
