The device consists of a plate to give support and helps in the pressure distribution to the wrist’s back so that the flow in the veins is not obstructed. The user may use RadiStop before, during or after the process to grip the wrist and steady it to a flexed pose. In order to spread the pressure all over the injected area, a large footprint is present in the compression pad. The pad also has a transparent material that facilitates in its accurate and convenient placement. To get hemostasis, seamless pressure adjustment is enabled by the Velcro strap that comes along with the instrument.
