Cerenovus is a fast growing platform with a strong equity in the Irish stroke market. There are 3 stroke centres in Ireland (RVH in Belfast, Beaumont in Dublin and CUH in Cork) and all of them currently use part of the Cerenovus portfolio to treat stroke patients.

The Cerenovus Stroke Business Development Manager will be responsible to promote the different products, increase their adoption, train hospital consultants and their staff on the safe & effective use of the products and support patient critical case whenever needed.

The Cerenovus Stroke Business Development Manager will work part time to develop mutually beneficial relationships with the three stroke centers in order for Johnson & Johnson to become the preferred long-term strategic partner and drive profitable sales and market share growth. You will develop and implement the best strategies aimed at winning market share in the 3 accounts in line with J&J Cerenovus Commercial Strategy.

You will report directly into the CSS Lead Ireland and will work closely with the other sales team members operating in the same accounts.

The role will require to build in-depth understanding of the 3 Irish stroke centres and develop strong relationships with a broad range of key stakeholders within and outside of the theatre environment in order to secure long term sales growth for J&J Medical devices.

You will define and implement the Cerenovus commercial strategy together with the CSS Lead Ireland and the UK & Ireland Cerenovus marketing team.

You will master and lead the sales cycle (from “approach” stage to “closing a deal”) to drive sustainable growth and success within your accounts through ethical leadership.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow strong relationships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders
  • Articulate and sell the value proposition of Cerenovus products to clinical and Non clinical stakeholders
  • Increase adoption of Cerenovus products, Win market share and achieve sales targets
  • Support patient critical cases in theatre whenever required
  • Liaise with the regional (UK/IE and EMEA) marketing teams to define and implement the best marketing strategies
  • Liaise with the regional (UK/IE and EMEA) ProfEd teams to define profEd needs
  • 100% adherence to compliance, ethical and legal requirements


Qualifications

Experienced Required:

  • A Winning Spirit with high level of energy, learning agility and resilience to deliver sales results
  • Excellent knowledge of Cerenovus product portfolio and stroke treatment options and procedures (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a sense of urgency towards customer needs.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude with strong project management and planning skills to prioritise and efficiently maximise available time.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to deal with confidential information in an appropriate and sensitive way.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong influencing skills and conflict management experience
  • Strategic / Longer Term Mindset
