Our headquarters is located at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in historic Golden, Colorado with a location in Northern California (Redwood City) and remote throughout the USA.

About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Director, Client Strategy & Growth is responsible for supporting the company's strategic initiatives and business development activities. The position plays an important role in maintaining and growing existing client relationships. This leadership role is both strategic and operational in nature. It is a high-performing cross-functional role requiring experience managing multiple projects, departments and outside relationships in a fast-paced environment. Creative analysis, independent thought, good judgment and a proactive orientation toward decision-making and action are key elements of this position.

Strategy:

  • Serve as an integral member of the company's strategic planning effort to identify, assess and prioritize growth opportunities
  • Take increasing responsibility in sourcing and screening growth opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of growth opportunities and strategy initiatives

Customer Management & Growth:

  • Assist in creating presentation materials for executive management, potential customers and partners
  • Improve internal processes, including pricing models used by the Business Development Team, long-term financial planning and assessment of financial performance
  • Understand customers' objectives and provide them with effective data-driven solutions
  • Work collaboratively with sales/business development
  • Guide the team in the conception and delivery of innovative, business-building solutions
  • Contribute to new business efforts
  • Serve as the primary contact responsible for owning the relationships across several key accounts

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Monitor and report on industry trends across customer segments
  • Continuously assess alternative business models and the most effective ways of selling the company's products and services to customers

Requirements:

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree in business or equivalent preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare with roles involving financial analysis, customer management and business development
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to keep highly sensitive information confidential
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time – Exempt

Salary Expectations: $95,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience and location); currently there is no variable compensation for this position

Work Location: Remote USA

Estimated Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% of time
