SUMMARY

As the Marketing Manager, Diagnostic Solutions EEMEA you will work in collaboration with the Regional Commercial Directors / General Managers, where you will be responsible for the development and execution of EEMEA market strategy, new products, portfolio management and any other activities designed to increase the net value and vitality index growth of the entire Diagnostics Solutions portfolio. 

In this role you will help define the long-term strategy of the franchise and drive implementation of this strategy with central functions including Manufacturing, Regulatory, R&D and Business Development. She/he will work closely with the EMEAC commercial teams in preparation for market development, new product introductions (NPIs) and building commercial strategy and capability. 

You will be responsible for all of Diagnostics Solutions marketing activities in the region, including our business, consumer, brand and distributor marketing strategy.  The Marketing Manager will be responsible for understanding the current and future market needs and priorities; this includes creation and execution of marketing strategies, tactical plans, new product introductions, market development, and portfolio lifecycle plans aligned to regional sales objectives to accelerate new customer acquisition, elevate brand awareness, drive demand and flow of product to achieve the business plan across the Diagnostics Solutions portfolio.

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum level of education/experience required.

  • Minimum 6 years of progressive product, marketing management or strategic marketing experience in EEMEA within the medical devices industry is required
  • Additional sales experience beneficial
  • Experience in Diagnostics business with understanding of clinical microbiology is preferred
  • Experience of working with distributors
  • Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and presentations) and ability to build relationships across different regions
  • Self-starter, know how to approach the job, passionate about the industry
  • Understand EEMEA medical regulatory landscape & awareness of geographical differences
  • Highly developed business acumen
  • Demonstrate practical application of successful marketing / business / portfolio management concepts and methodologies, as well as assessment tools, practices, and techniques
  • University degree required
