Hospice Head of Care
Are you ready to lead quality, improvement and development of services within a growing, high performing Palliative and End of Life Care department?
Do you want to see creative ideas grow into services that meet the needs of people with life limiting illnesses and their carers?
Tynedale Hospice at Home, a highly regarded organisation that operates across Tynedale, Ponteland and West Northumberland is seeking a Head of Care, reporting to the CEO, to lead its 3 current services and develop new initiatives that meet the needs of the community.
The Care Team currently provides hospice care for people in their own homes, at end of life; pre and post bereavement support; door to door transport to individuals when attending medical appointments, with other service developments in the pipeline and the resources to develop further initiatives to meet the needs of the community.
The hospice was rated “Good” by CQC two years ago and is ambitious to achieve an “Outstanding” rating at its next review.
We require an experienced leader who can fulfil the role of Registered Manager, preferably with experience of end of life care provision – but this is not essential – and who can work with the CEO to establish and deliver a strategic vision for the Care service.
We can offer a competitive salary, generous benefits, flexible/hybrid working and a funded commitment to your personal development.
Location: Community of Tynedale, West Northumberland, Ponteland
Salary: £36,800 per annum (£46,000 Full time equivalent)
