Description

 

The CCAEST Directorate is looking for experienced and qualified Critical Care Nurses as part of our expansion programme. Nurses who have at least 2 years’ experience in Medical/Surgical areas also have an opportunity to sign up on our ICU CPD Foundation Programme to upskill and improve their knowledge in critical care nursing.

Our Critical Care Department provide provides high volume, multidisciplinary critical care to patients requiring multi-organ and multi-speciality supports. The department is comprise of Intensive Care and High Dependency Units, has a combined capacity of 36 beds and expanding. The department has been at the forefront of speciality services delivery, including the National Heart & Lung Transplantation Programme & Extra Corporeal Life Support (ECLS).

We pride ourselves on our educational opportunities and offer wide range of support through our Critical Care Staff Development Facilitators, Critical Care ANPs in collaboration with our Centre of Nurse Education and academic partner University College Dublin (UCD).
