As Solution Engineer Medical Imaging and Connectivity you will deliver high level expertise and knowledge to support our EMEA field service and our in-house Solution Specialists teams. This includes expert level troubleshooting and root cause investigation, mapping out in-house training and providing input on product launches. This position is specifically focused on the Connectivity side of our products, and we are looking for candidates with IT oriented background.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather feedback, improve resolution time to deliver effortless customer experience. Drive projects to improve service metrics (uptime, time to fix, Phone Fix rate)
  • Optimize training content for our Field Service, Technical Support teams and other departments
  • Maintain and generate instrument performance and reliability data reports
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the field performance by sharing  information, being the link between the EMEA field organization and the US team
  • Act as point of contact between Regional teams and Technical Service group in Head Quarters in order to develop and implement product improvement/changes
  • Provide Field Service feedback (reports and data) to other departments for the purpose of customer requests, continuing engineering and complaint analysis and product improvement

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences – Radiology, ultrasonography, or Computer Science  / electronic / biomedical engineering / other as relevant
  • Skilled at analysing complex technical problems and system performance problems
  • Experience working in service environment with customers to resolve problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any other language is an added value
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with CRM and ERP systems 
  • Independent self-starter with positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully perform in an environment of changing priorities
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with X-ray, Ultrasound and/or Medical Imaging Devices and knowledge of networking, DICOM & PACS will be highly advantageous
  • Ability to travel
