Healthcare IT Deployment Specialist

 

As a Service Engineer within the Benelux department of Agfa Healthcare IT, you are an important link in the realization of new IT implementations in the Benelux hospitals.

You will be part of our Operations Team.

Your work does not only take place at our customers (hospitals) (20%) but also takes place remotely (at home or at the office in Mortsel) (80%).

You work in a team of about 15 employees and you report directly to the Service Operations Manager.

 

As an IT Deployment Specialist you are responsible for:

 

  • Preparing, analyzing, installing, configuring & optimizing Agfa's Healthcare IT products in an existing or new customer environment according to the applicable quality procedures.
  • The correct elaboration, implementation and follow-up of all responsibilities entrusted to you within the project team.
  • Adequately solving or reporting problems and reports to the customer during the different project phases.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks and technical follow-ups at customers.
  • The (remote) repair and adjustments of the systems at the customer.
  • Solution-oriented collaboration and communication with customers and other members of the Benelux team (Operations – Support – Project Management - (Pre-)Sales).
  • Accurately reporting and registering your activities.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with other team members or with the customer.

 

What you bring to the table:

  • You have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or equivalent through experience.
  • You have several years of IT experience as a Field Service Engineer.
  • You have a solid knowledge of and experience in relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL.
  • You are familiar with the MS Windows operating systems in a client-server environment.
  • Experience with Linux is a plus.
  • You have a good basic knowledge of networks, TCP/IP, routing and its structure.
  • Storage solutions such as SAN and NAS are not unknown to you.
  • You have knowledge of the healthcare standards DICOM and HL7 or you are willing to acquire them.
  • You have experience with ESXi 6.0 or higher
  • You are very customer oriented.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You are stress resistant and you work very independently.
  • You work accurately and structured.
  • You are flexible
  • Frequent travels to our customers are no problem for you.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French.
