Agfa HealthCare is looking for an HR Manager Europe South
located in Italy

 

This is a great opportunity for a pragmatic and result-oriented candidate who likes to partner closely with business on people and organization related topics and willing to operate in an international team.

 

In this role you will be in charge of the HR Operations, you will provide HR support to managers and employees by deploying global HR processes and systems to achieve business results, maintaining appropriate balance between the business needs and legal framework.

 

As a confident business partner, you understand the business needs and act as a liaison and sparring partner with management to ensure the best interest of the organization and its employees are being met. You are comfortable challenging the management team and equally happy to get involved in supporting them to achieve objectives.

 

The Europe South Region consists of a Sales and Services organization, a small R&D team and supporting functions with 110 employees based in Italy (offices in Milano and Macerata) and Spain (office in Barcelona).

 

Main responsibilities

• You drive and operationally execute the implementation of our employee life cycle strategy and you coach, support and challenge our leaders in their people management;
• You are responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, providing them a great candidate experience, and this in close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team;
• You make compensation and reward proposals in line with global guidelines and business needs;
• You organize and provide individual career development opportunities to our employees, with an eye towards the future;
• You manage employee relations issues including performance management issues;
• Assists managers in developing skills in human resources processes; including objective setting, performance management, coaching and counseling employees;
• Participates as team member in the development of human resources programs;
• You advise the organization from an employment law perspective and ensure compliance of the organization’s practices with applicable labor legislation and collective labor agreements;
• You handle dialogue with social partners/works councils;

 

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years working experience in a HR Generalist / HR Business Partner role
• Education to degree level or equivalent in either HR or related business subject
• You can work as part of a global team, while at the same time having a hands-on and operational approach
• Results oriented; developing focused and realistic plans for one self and deliver expectations with the ability to exhibit resilience
• Demonstrate determination and flexibility to overcome barriers
• Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and enjoys a challenge
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels in the business
• You have good working knowledge of labor law and health & safety legislation in both Italy and Spain

 

Languages

• Italian native proficiency and excellent Spanish are a must have ! Also strong English language skills. 

 

Location: Your main office location will be Cinisello Balsamo near Milano. This role requires some travel-flexibility.
