Orion Health Leads EHR Solution in Spanish Community Care
Orion Health has helped deploy the first electronic health record (EHR) in community care in Spain. Gestion Sanitaria de Mallorca (GESMA), a three-facility system focusing on social-medical issues, has selected Orion Health technology for the sharing of patient information and care plans.
Orion Health’s technology, the Rhapsody Integration Engine and Concerto Portal Software, will allow for GESMA clinicians, nurses, psychiatrists and community care workers to share patient information and to have access to co-developed care plans.
The technology streamlines information transfer while providing all pertinent patient information including history, treatments and procedures. With GESMA community care patients being treated on an on-going basis, the technology from Orion Health will help improve the quality-of-care.
GESMA serves the community through their services in social medical issues such as mental illness, alcohol detoxification and chronic respiratory conditions.
