4) Clinician Copilots (Only After Governance Is in Place)
Where systems become genuinely transformative is when the front door integrates with documentation and care pathways: drafting session summaries, generating goal-aligned plans, and producing communication templates for care teams. But this should be implemented only after the earlier layers are stable and auditable, because documentation tools touch higher-risk domains (privacy, accuracy, medico-legal exposure) (NIST 2023).
