The deal is the largest single contract to be awarded to Siemens in the Middle East. Nearly 100 Ministry of Health hospitals will receive the diagnostic imaging equipment, including magnetic resonance imaging and computing tomography equipment, mobile x-rays and mammography systems. The equipment will be fully serviced over a period of five years.
Siemens officials said this agreement would continue to improve healthcare services in Iraq, a country who has used Siemens products for more than 30 years.
