Since its official launch earlier this year, Siemens Healthcare’s innovative software application for multi-modality clinical image reporting has received 10 orders in the UK.  syngo®.via is a client-server application that does not restrict user access from dedicated workstations and is accessible from any network attached workstation*.  It has been designed to save time, money and ensure easy access to clinical images.

In one click, it collates clinical images for interpretation and automatically pre-processes according to condition-specific requirements.  In a climate of performance and productivity it enables imaging departments to fully utilise the power of diagnostic imaging equipment in a fast and efficient way.

First UK orders received to power CT imaging systems include University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Sussex County Hospital, part of Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.

“This software application for use with CT, MR and Molecular Imaging equipment makes clinical cases ready for clinical interpretation in less time,” states Ronan Kirby, Image & Knowledge Management Business Manager at Siemens Healthcare.  “Its deployment from an IT and communications perspective has been simplified and as a true multi-modality solution it offers full PACS/RIS integration.  With a single click, advanced visualisation at every workstation*, regardless of vendor is achieved.”
