Siemens Healthcare is providing the medical imaging community with informative education sessions that are regularly held in the UK. Siemens offers a range of courses tailored to the needs of radiographers and radiologists through to cardiologists and obstetricians, .

Recent study days include a thoracic ultrasound course at Royal Preston Hospital and Cardiac CT level II course at The British Institute of Radiology.  Forthcoming sessions include two Breast MRI Study Days at St James's Institute of Oncology in Leeds to give firsthand experience of the different elements of live scanning and post processing techniques; a Practical Cardiac MRI Course at Southampton General Hospital giving radiologists and cardiologists practical and theoretical knowledge to perform successful Cardiac MRI examinations; a Fetal Cardiology Course at Birmingham Women’s Hospital; and an Essential Nuclear Medicine for FRCR study day at Hammersmith Hospital Conference Centre.

“The Siemens Healthcare UK Study Days are proactive and lively sessions designed to cover agendas of value to practicing medical imaging professionals,” said Jane Kilkenny, MR Product Manager at Siemens Healthcare.  “The MRI study streams provide the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding on MR principles regardless of knowledge levels.  It also enables radiologists and radiographers to engage with their peers to discuss potential MR challenges and solutions facing the UK healthcare industry today.”
