Ikonopedia, LLC has launched its image-based Breast Imaging Suite for breast study reporting.  with a fully functional integration with the Three Palm Software Workstation One™.  The multi-modality Breast Imaging Workstation is an ideal match for the Ikonopedia product with its multi-modality reporting capabilities.

The cloud-based Ikonopedia product is revolutionary in that it indexes breast image findings by what they look like rather than by what they are called. The image library is drawn from the teaching files of two of the founders of the company, Dr. Laszlo Tabar and Dr. Tom Stavros. By selecting the image most closely resembling the patient’s finding the system creates a structured language report using a standardised lexicon in realtime with all administrative tasks automatically triggered in the process of report generation. Reports can be viewed on screen, signed and transmitted at the moment of completion without any follow-on ancillary personnel assistance.

Dr. Michael Vendrell, Ikonopedia’s President and Chief Design Officer said, “The Three Palm WorkstationOne™ is an extremely user friendly way to access multi-modality images and we think our Breast Imaging Suite is the perfect user interface for report generation.”

In addition, the Ikonopedia product has an embedded realtime reference capable of displaying all of the image variation around the quintessential or mean image. At particularly critical decision points short didactic videos by Ikonopedia’s world renowned experts describe how the expert would make the call.
