We are pleased to welcome you to participate in the International Symposium on Radiation Exposure Monitoring in Medical Imaging, which will be held from 11th to 13th of June 2026 in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The goal of the symposium is reflected in its motto: “Enhanced patient care through effective data management”. The program will cover current advancements and future directions in radiation exposure monitoring in medical imaging. The focus will be on automation, connectivity, integration of digital exposure monitoring with other healthcare electronic systems, and related analytics and implementation aspects. The spectrum of analytical uses of exposure data will be discussed, and related IT solutions for effective data management at the level of individual patients, healthcare facilities, nationally or internationally. The symposium will be a platform for sharing experiences, solutions and ideas for streamlining the digital exposure data collection and its effective use. The scope is multidisciplinary, aimed at a broad audience of professionals including imaging physicians, medical physicists, IT specialists, engineers, radiographers, health and radiation protection authorities, manufacturers, patient organizations, and risk communication specialists.

The participants’ registration fee includes:
– Admission to all scientific sessions
– Access to exhibition and poster areas
– Conference material and name badge
– Digital certificate of participation
– Admission to the opening ceremony
– Admission to the welcome cocktail
– Publication of an abstract in the Book of abstracts (maximum two as presenting author)
– Three free lunches 11th-13th June
– Refreshments during the coffee breaks.

The registration fee does not include tickets for the national dinner. These tickets for € 80 per participant can be purchased along with your registration.

The registration fee does not include insurance. Participants and accompanying persons are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.

* The reduced fee applies to:

– Members of the local co-organisers of the symposium.

**The accompanying persons’ registration fee includes:
– Admission to the opening ceremony
– Admission to the welcome cocktail
– A half-day sightseeing tour in Sofia.

The fee does not include access to the scientific sessions.

Registered accompanying persons are welcome to attend the national dinner and other social events at the same rates as the participants.

The name badge issued to you upon registration is required for admission to the meeting and all related events. You are kindly requested to wear your name badge at all times.
