ESHNR 2016 - 29th Annual Meeting and Refresher Course

The main objectives of this course are focusing on imaging of most of the ENT-regions with special emphasis on new techniques and future possibilities. Scientific sessions as refresher courses are dedicated to these topics.
Moreover, all radiologists, residents and clinicians involved in head and neck radiology are cordially invited to enlarge the sprectrum of topics by submitting abstracts for short oral and poster presentations. You may choose from following presentation forms:
- Short oral presentations
- Educational poster presentations
- Scientific poster presentations
The main concerned target audience are radiologists, junior radiologists as well as clinicians actively involved and interested in ENT radiology, as more dedicated radiologists looking for an up-to date improvement of their scientific knowledge. ENT, maxillo-facial surgeons, dentists… are also welcome with surgeons-radiologists duos.
The meeting will be held in English. No simultaneous translation will be offered.
CME – Continuing Medical Education
The ESHNR – European Society of Head and Neck Radiology will apply for accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
EACCME credits are recognised by the American Medical Association towards the Physician’s Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA ORA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
EPOS™ / EPOS™Area
ESHNR 2016 is using the EPOS™ system, Electronic Presentation Online System, the electronic format of the scientific exhibition. EPOS™ offers a much greater flexibility than traditional scientific exhibits and provides better options for scientific communication. Workstations will be available in the EPOS™ Area in which ESHNR 2016 posters can be viewed by the participants during the congress.
ESHNR awards the following prizes:
€ 750.00 for the best oral presentation
€ 750.00 for the best scientific poster presentation
€ 300.00 for the best educational poster presentation
Free registration to the ESHNR Annual Meeting and Refresher Course 2017 for the second best oral presentation and second best scientific poster presentation.
REGISTRATION WILL START IN FEBRUARY 2016
Registration for the ESHNR 2016 – 29th Annual Meeting and Refresher Course is to be made electronically by completing the respective registration form. Registration forms without full name, complete email, postal address and date of birth cannot be processed.
Registration fees depend on the date your payment is received at the ESHNR bank account and will be considered as incomplete and adjusted accordingly if the payment is not received by the relevant deadline.
Reduced congress registrations are available to all ESHNR members in good standing for 2016.
Resident registration will be offered to residents (young radiologists in training). Residents have to send a fax or email letter, written on official hospital letter paper and signed by the head of department, confirming their status as such within 5 working days after online registration. In case this confirmation is not received, the registration fee will be automatically adjusted to a regular fee. The age limit for a registration as a resident is set at 35 years (incl. the age of 35).
