This course returns for its third year! Do not miss this two-day introduction and guide to the interpretation of emergency department imaging. It is aimed at new consultants, A&E doctors, emergency nurse practitioners, ST1/2 radiology trainees, reporting radiographers and foundation doctors.

By the end of the course delegates should be able to:

Identify a range of injuries and medical conditions presented in the emergency setting
State the clinical indications for using radiographic imaging in the emergency department
Apply their knowledge to interpret emergency radiographs with an emphasis of review areas
Recognise normal and abnormal appearances of commonly performed emergency radiographs
Explain the management of important and common conditions
List the potential effects of ionising radiation and have an increased awareness of the laws surrounding medical imaging
