EIRUS device for continuous monitoring of glucose and lactate to be distributed by PULSION in Europe.

As part of Maquet’s Critical Care’s goal to build a portfolio of Advanced Monitoring solutions, Maquet and Pulsion announced, during this year’s ISICEM (International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine) in Brussels, a collaboration to distribute the EIRUS continuous glucose and lactate monitoring solution in Europe.

Pulsion has vast expertise in commercialising Advanced Monitoring solutions, including its flagship products PiCCO, CeVOX and ProAQT addressing physicians in Intensive-Care Units and Operating Rooms.

Starting April 1st 2014, Pulsion will also be the distribution channel for EIRUS – Maquet’s recently introduced solution for continuous glucose and lactate monitoring - in Germany, Poland, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland and UK.

“We are really excited about this solution and believe that Pulsion’s experienced sales organisation will increase the pace of bringing this technology to the market, supporting our strategic efforts within Advanced Monitoring solutions,” commented Jens Viebke, President, Maquet Critical Care.
