We are excited to welcome you to WFPICCS 2026, the 13th World Congress of the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive & Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS), held in conjunction with the ANZICS ACCCN Intensive Care Annual Scientific Meeting at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 26 to 30 September 2026.


This landmark event brings together the WFPICCS Congress and the ANZICS ACCCN Intensive Care ASM into one major international gathering. The 2026 Congress and ASM will be a key highlight on the global intensive care calendar, uniting physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals working across both paediatric and adult critical care.


The scientific program will feature world-renowned keynote speakers, cutting-edge research, and a diverse range of sessions spanning clinical care, education, innovation, and global health. Designed for multidisciplinary collaboration, this event will offer invaluable opportunities to share knowledge, build networks, and explore future directions in intensive and critical care.

WFPICCS 2026 & ANZICS ACCCN ASM Organising Committees

Registration for the 2026 WFPICCS Congress, held alongside the ANZICS ACCCN Intensive Care ASM, will open soon. Taking place from 26–30 September 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, this event will unite international experts across adult and paediatric intensive care.

Program Overview


Saturday 26 – Wednesday 30 September 2026

Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre

The WFPICCS 2026 Congress, in partnership with the ANZICS ACCCN Intensive Care ASM, will feature a dynamic and engaging multi-day program designed to foster knowledge exchange, professional development, and international collaboration in both pediatric and adult intensive care.


Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 September

Pre-Congress and ASM Workshops

Hands-on workshops and focused sessions will be offered across these two days, providing opportunities for in-depth learning and specialised training.


Sunday 27 September

Opening Session & Networking Function

The official program will commence in the afternoon with a Welcome & Opening Ceremony, followed by a networking function bringing together delegates from around the world.


Monday 28 – Wednesday 30 September

Congress & ASM Program

Across the three core conference days, the program will include:

  • Daily plenary sessions featuring international keynote speakers
  • A series of parallel sessions covering clinical, research, and operational topics
  • Poster presentations and opportunities for delegate-led research sharing
  • Access to the industry exhibition showcasing the latest in healthcare innovation and technology
  • Dedicated networking opportunities, including social functions and receptions


The Congress will conclude on Wednesday afternoon with a closing plenary and the presentation of ASM awards.
