The World Day of the Critical Lung

The World Day of the Critical Lung aims to set a global benchmark given its high academic and scientific level and its novel online, free and bilingual (English and Spanish) format broadcasted by social networks. These characteristics will allow for the active participation of thousands of health professionals, coming from the most diverse regions of the planet that feel connected by one objective: improving the patient with critical pulmonary affectation.

The World Day of the Critical Lung Day has been organized into six online roundtables: "New challenges to monitor and support respiratory function"; "What´s new in broncho obstructive diseases?"; “Acute pulmonary distress syndrome after the first half century: what have we learned? "; "The lungs in immunosuppressed patients", “New opportunities for pulmonary infections” and "The lung under extreme conditions". Each roundtable consists of 4 brief conferences (15 minutes each) provided by leading clinicians and researchers from 5 continents. The international scientific committee, chaired by Dr. Sebastián Ugarte (Chile), guarantees the highest quality of each presentations.
