Society for Technology in Anesthesia Annual Meeting 2026

Want to take the stage at the 2026 STA Annual Meeting? Here’s your chance! We’re inviting bold thinkers and passionate communicators to apply to give a ten-minute Power Talk presentation on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the STA annual meeting.

This is an open call for anyone -including students, residents, fellows, and early-career researchers/clinicians- who is ready to share fresh ideas and spark conversation. To apply, simply submit a one-minute elevator pitch on any topic that you think would interest annual meeting attendees. No fancy production required, a clear, self-recorded cellphone video is all it takes. Full submission details and guidelines can be found below.

The top five applicants will be selected to give a ten-minute Power Talk at the STA 2026 Annual Meeting — a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas with leaders in anesthesia, technology, and innovation.

Submissions Guidelines

• Submit an entry using the online submission system.
• Upload your video file in any common format via the online submission system.
• Elevator pitch videos should be a maximum of sixty seconds in length. Videos longer than 60 seconds will not be accepted.
• Video sound should be clearly audible, and the speaker’s face, torso and hands should be visible throughout the entire recording.
• Do not use PowerPoint slides, video graphics or other similar material in the submission video.
• Power Talks will be peer-reviewed according to the following criteria: originality, scientific interest, clear and confident presentation style.
• Authors will be notified of review decision via email. Please contact the STA at [email protected] if you have not received a decision by September 8, 2025.
• Power Talks presenters are required to pay meeting registration and expenses.
