Sepsis Unplugged Conference 2016

Sepsis Unplugged is a fresh type of conference. Attitudes and egos will be left at the door and all health professionals and patient groups will be brought together as equals. The conference will ask the questions that will help to shape better care for patients with sepsis.

This new type of conference is needed because today sepsis claims more lives than breast cancer, bowel cancer, prostate cancer and HIV/AIDS combined. Globally, it is now estimated to kill more people than tobacco. Traditional academic meetings have failed to reliably improve outcomes or engage the wider healthcare system.

For nearly a decade, the people behind the UK Sepsis Trust (UK Reg. Charity 1158843) have been building coalitions and effecting change, with a veiw to acheiving sustained improvement across our entire healthcare system.
