ESA Focus Meeting on Perioperative Medicine

The programme will be put together by the ESA Scientific Committee, in cooperation with the French Society of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) and the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists (EACTA).

For the second year, ESA addresses the subject of perioperative medicine in an official annual meeting and collaborates in the elaboration of the programme with the national society and other specialist societies.

The aim is to put this area of medicine in the forefront of the future development of healthcare system as a whole.

The meeting targets general anaesthesiologists and the programme will focus on the general cardiac patient scheduled for non-cardiac surgery. The ESA invites European experts to attend and share their knowledge and expertise with all attendees on the specific topic.
