On behalf of the entire Presidium of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI), we would like to warmly invite you to our congress in the Congress Center Hamburg, which will take place from December 4th. – December 6th, 2024.

The motto this year is “Competence in a team: Innovation meets experience” .

Our motto is more relevant than ever. Intensive care and emergency medicine in particular thrives on innovation, but this can only be implemented sensibly in the interests of our patients through appropriate team experience. Intensive care and emergency medicine in particular thrives on interdisciplinarity and multi-professionalism, which are particularly represented in the DIVI. The importance of cooperation between all professional groups is also shown by the format of the co-congress president for the health professions, which has been established since last year and sets an example for the cooperation of the various professional groups internally and externally.

The exchange across all specialist areas and professional fields is an essential and important component in the joint treatment and care of our patients. Only if we understand how to use innovation and experience correctly can the competence of the treatment team be bundled and strengthened for the benefit of our patients.

As every year, proven formats for exchange and discussion between all professional groups are available to you in Hamburg. Attend the pro-contra sessions, the discussion forums, voting formats but also the panel discussions and the campfire meetings, to name just a few. Of course, the tried and tested training series in Hamburg will also be carried out accordingly again.
