On behalf of the Pan American and Iberian Federation of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care (FEPIMCTI), it is my honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the second edition of “the World Day of the Critical Lung ” that will be held on next December 4rd, 2019.

Despite the great advances of modern medicine, pulmonary diseases continue to have a high prevalence in the worldwide population as well as generating a great morbidity and mortality. For that reason, one of our main responsibilities as health professionals is to keep updated with the latest advances in our field.

The World Day of the Critical Lung aims to set a global benchmark given its high academic and scientific level and its novel online, free and bilingual (English and Spanish) format broadcasted by social networks. These characteristics will allow for the active participation of thousands of health professionals, coming from the most diverse regions of the planet that feel connected by one objective: improving the patient with critical pulmonary affectation.

The “World Day of the Critical Lung” is on-going and gives you the warmest welcome.
