Every year, 4 February marks World Cancer Day, an opportunity for the world community to reflect on how to prevent and treat the disease, as well as to commemorate the over 7.9 million victims cancer claims annually.

To raise awareness on the impact preventative strategies and early diagnosis can have in diminishing the number of cases and the improvements that can be made to treatment through personalised medicine, MedTech Europe will be hosting a 30-minute Twitter chat beginning at 14h00 on the day. Stakeholders, healthcare professionals, patients, media or anyone who is interested in engaging in a discussion on what can be done to reduce the impact cancer has on European society and beyond are invited to participate.

Follow @MedTechEurope on Twitter to participate.
