The UK Sepsis Trust
The first ‘Sepsis Unplugged’ conference, hosted by The UK Sepsis Trust, takes place on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 May 2015 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. This new conference will bring together all health professionals and patient groups as equals and asks the questions which will help to shape better care for patients with sepsis.
This new type of conference is strongly needed because today sepsis claims more lives than breast cancer, bowel cancer, prostate cancer and HIV/AIDS combined. Traditional academic meetings have failed to reliably improve outcomes or engage the wider healthcare system. The UK Sepsis Trust have therefore designed this conference with this in mind and encourage you to attend.
