Europe’s leading conference on sustainable healthcare brings together healthcare leaders and champions of sustainability to share ideas, innovations and solutions to accelerate the transition to sustainable healthcare.

The aim of CleanMed Europe 2025 is to inspire everyone involved in healthcare to lead the charge, enhancing patient care while making sustainability a core commitment within the sector and beyond. The conference invites participants to share and learn from each other, embracing innovative ideas while building new connections with sustainability leaders across Europe, regardless of where they are on the journey.

CleanMed Europe 2025 will be delivered online across four days, reaching a truly global audience and allowing attendees to network and enjoy all sessions virtually and on-demand for up to four weeks after the conference.

The evidence is undeniable: the global environmental crisis is also a health crisis, and everyone needs to take action to minimise the threat it poses to human health. That’s why sustainability in healthcare can no longer be an afterthought – it’s a necessity. A healthy world is vital for healthy lives, and healthcare needs to be sustainable by definition. The healthcare sector must not merely aspire to a ‘greener future’ – it needs to reposition its role today as a global leader in pioneering both health and sustainability practices.

At CleanMed Europe, we are driving this transformation with the goal of redefining healthcare.

Redefining healthcare means placing sustainability at the heart of healthcare’s core mission, aligning it with other health trends – such as circularity, resistance, prevention and digital health – all of which support a sustainable healthcare agenda. But what does that look like? Healthcare leaders across Europe are already grappling with this challenge and at CleanMed 2025 we aim to amplify their knowledge, expertise, and solutions, ensuring sustainability is woven into every healthcare policy, practice, and culture.
