CACVS 2019 - Controversies & Updates in Vascular Surgery 2019

Controversy and Updates in Vascular Surgery (CACVS) is an international postgraduate course for Vascular Surgeons, Cardiac Surgeons Vascular Radiologists, Angiologists, and trainees in vascular surgery, vascular radiology, and vascular medicine. The course includes a main session of two and a half days devoted to all aspects of vascular diseases and their treatments. A special focus is given on the most recent available data from on-going or recently published trials, technical aspects for selected vascular or endovascular procedures and debates on controversial topics.

The scientific committee includes well renowned national and international vascular surgeons. The main topics are aneurysms, aortic dissections, carotid interventions, peripheral occlusive diseases, vascular accesses and interventions for venous diseases.
On Saturday, a parallel session devoted to venous topics will provide the delegates with the most up-to-date information.

For the first time a session co organized with the French Society of Young Vascular Surgeon , SICCV will take place on Saturday afternoon

Hands-on training sessions will be available for participants on Friday afternoon.

Finally, symposia devoted to specific vascular issues will complete the course.

Since the first meeting 27 years ago, the concept of CACVS, along with a very busy schedule, has never disappointed the attendees whose number has been steadily growing every year.
