68th EQuiP Conference 2026

Dear Colleagues,

Following the success of the 66th EQuiP Conference on The Impact of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence in Family Medicine, which explored how technology is reshaping primary care, we now turn our focus back to the human core of our profession.

The 68th EQuiP Conference will take place from 21 to 23 May 2026 in Kraków, Poland. The venue will be the neo-Renaissance building of the District Medical Chamber in Kraków, built in 1864 and located in the Old Town at 11a Krupnicza Street, just 500 meters from the Main Market Square.

Our conference motto is: “Strengthening the Heart of Primary Care: Well-being and Resilience in Family Physicians.”

Family doctors are the foundation of health systems across Europe—yet they increasingly face chronic stress, burnout, and rising levels of patient aggression. As workloads intensify and expectations grow, it is vital that we care not only for our patients, but also for ourselves and our colleagues.

We warmly invite general practitioners, educators, researchers, and health system leaders to join us in Kraków to:

• Share research, practical interventions, and policy strategies that support physician well-being and professional satisfaction.
• Explore tools for fostering resilience, reducing emotional exhaustion, and creating psychologically safe clinical environments.
• Address the growing challenge of aggression and violence towards healthcare workers in primary care.
• Build an international community and movement dedicated to restoring balance and sustainability in general practice.

Kraków is one of Europe’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities, offering the perfect setting for reflection, dialogue, and renewal. As Poland’s historic capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kraków blends medieval charm with modern energy—providing delegates with a unique opportunity to engage deeply with the conference themes while experiencing world-class architecture, cuisine, and hospitality.
