COURSE DESCRIPTION
This comprehensive program brings together leading experts in cardiovascular disease for an in-depth review of the most important fundamentals and recent advancements in cardiovascular medicine. The course will cover key topics and developments to ensure that healthcare professionals are equipped with the latest knowledge to deliver the highest quality of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • recognize electrocardiogram findings of common arrhythmias;
  • apply new guidelines on a spectrum of cardiovascular diseases;
  • discuss new and current pharmacologic therapy in cardiovascular medicine;
  • apply current guidelines for the management of heart failure;
  • discuss coronary syndromes utilizing aspects of patient presentation and diagnostic testing;
  • identify appropriate patients for structural interventions; and,
  • decribe when to refer for advanced valve therapies.
