COURSE INFORMATION

This course is aimed at radiology trainees and newly certified radiologists who will perform ultrasound examinations as an integral part of their clinical practice. A panel of international experts will present main pathologies that can be readily diagnosed on ultrasound, following an organ-based approach. This will be delivered through 6 lectures of 40 minutes each, during which an initial theorical presentation will be followed by clinical cases. Live sessions of Questions and Answers will allow discussion with the Faculty Member.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • To become familiar with multiparametric Ultrasound techniques
  • To be aware of Ultrasound artefacts and how to utilise them advantageously
  • To revise normal ultrasound anatomy whilst achieving knowledge of the most common pathologies through an organ-based approach
